I was drawn to become a doctor after experiencing a medical emergency as a young child. My physician during that time showed compassion in my time of need, great skill and a dedication to his craft that made a lifelong impression on me. From that point on, I knew I wanted to become a physician and, ultimately, a surgeon to cure patients of disease, to relive their pain and discomfort, but most importantly, to make a lifelong impact on their lives. My philosophy to patient care is to treat every patient with the same respect, care and dignity that I would want any of my own family members to be treated with. My areas of special interest include applying advanced, minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques to all aspects of general surgery to help my patients recover quickly with superior outcomes. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children in the outdoors. We can often be found camping, hiking and fishing on our time off.
