Troop 701 is located in Stedman, NC. We are a tier one scout troop focused on high adventure treks with the ultimate goal of producing well rounded young men. - Unit History - Our scouts attend Cape Fear High School and Mac Williams Middle School. - Troop 701 currently has 38 active scouts organized into patrol that allows senior scouts to share their experience and leadership with younger and less experienced scouts. - This troop is unique because of its focus on providing opportunities for participation in high adventure treks. - A popular annual fund raising event is the Troop 701 Barbecue Plate sale. This annual event is held in late March each year and provides supports our scouts participation in High Adventure events. - Troop 701 is very active in our community. We provide service to our home church and other local events.
