Introduction :
Trinity Lutheran Church is affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, the second largest Lutheran Church body in America. We use the Bible as the sole authority of all Christian teachings. We believe as Scripture says, that mankind is sinful and we are saved solely through Jesus' death on the cross. His resurrection guarantees life and salvation for all who believe.

History of Trinity Lutheran Church :

A group of Christians gathered together in the early 1960s. At first, they had only a Sunday School, but soon included worship services.

Their first church building was dedicated and used on April 23, 1961. In 1963, 34 adults became communicant members officially making up Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis, Minnesota as a part of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The congregation grew to where it needed to build a new church, which was dedicated on November 17, 1968 with 88 communicant members. In 1969, Trinity called its first resident pastor, Rev. Paul Sutterer. The original church building was then converted into the parsonage for the pastor.

The congregation purchases four more acres of land south of the new church building in 1972 for the purpose of building a much needed education wing. The Nursery School opened in 1973 with an enrollment of 60 3 - 5 year old children. Pastor Sutterer accepted a call in the fall of 1978. Rev. Jack R. Baumgarn became the second resident pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. Four assistant resident pastors have served over the past years as well; Rev. Tom Ries, Rev. Mark Schoen, Rev. Gregory Musolf, and Rev. David Baumgarn. In August of 1980 the doors of Trinity Lutheran Elementary School were opened. The Principal, William Dunk, and a staff of dedicated teachers started with and enrollment of 91 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The summer of 1982 brought the beginning of construction for an addition to the education wing which more than doubled its size. The addition provided more space for the Sunday School, Bible Classes, Wednesday family education night, Christian Day School, and many other educational activities.

In the year 2001, the congregation added a new large worship center, and full size gym making up the Family Center, renovating the old sanctuary area for meeting rooms, office space, and ect. In the year 2005, Rev. John Maxfield joined the staff as associate pastor of Trinity Congregation.

God has blessed Trinity congregation with many building programs, dedicated staff members, and all above, spiritual growth though preaching and teaching God's Word with emphasis on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
