Mission Statement

We, the parish of St. Michael Church recognize the Holy Spirit at work in our midst summoning us together through Word and Sacrament in the bond of Roman Catholic Faith.

The same Spirit engages us in a process of continuing conversion, formation and renewal through all stages of Christian development and invites us to be open to the call of the Gospel.

It is our mission to actively seek out others, to welcome all who turn to us in faith, to nurture those gathered in community, and to engage in ecumenical dialogue and collaboration, and in the acts of charity and justice.

Called by God to be his people we are challenged by the Gospel to make visible what Jesus lived and valued in our world today and especially in our community of Gaston County.
