The South Central Minnesota Chapter of the American Red Cross is now the official Regional Emergency Operations Center for South Central Minnesota.

With grant funding, the Red Cross site will serve as a regional communications center during a large disaster affecting South Central Minnesota.

The site is equipped with 32 telephone lines,computers,fax machines,copiers,public service radios and HAM radio equipment.
