As our mission statement says, "We believe God is calling us to invite people into a deeper relationship with chirst, That they may discover true peace and be prepared to follow him in compassionate Service" and so we invite you to our worship services and all of the spiritual growth activities that Shalom sponsors. We plan every week for your visit and we trust you will find our worship services and other scheduled activities to be warm, welcoming and relevant to your life.

The purpose of our welcome (and all that we do) is to invite you into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe God's Holy Spirit works through worship, study, Christian service and spiritual friendships, to bring you closer to the heart of God.

This deeper relationship, in turn, has two primary outcomes. First, in relationship with Christ, we discover peace: peace with God, with others and with ourselves. (Our name "Shalom" means peace and wholeness in Hebrew.) Secondly, as we grow deeper in relationship to Christ, we find ourselves drawn to follow him in lives of compassionate service toward those who lack peace. We believe each person is unique and has God given abilities that can be used to love and serve others. Our goal is to help you identify your unique spiritual gifts, and where God is calling you to use them.
