Mission Statement:

Santa's Senior Center Corporation, Inc.'s mission is to create inviting and enjoyable programs that encourage older adults to use their skills, develop their potential, and continue their involvement in the community.

SSC provides a fun and comfortable environment for seniors who wish to socialize while participating in a variety of activities to include but are not limited to weekly morning exercise, luncheons, potlucks & game days, bingo, bunco, and annual events to include: rummage, bazaar, used book sales, and pancake feeds.  Additionally, the SSC works closely with UAF's OLLI Summer Program to provide ongoing learning opportunities, enabling qualified seniors to help instruct classes for fellow members who need help adjusting to the generational changes (i.e. electronic equipment).  However, the OLLI classes are not limited to computer specific courses. The SSC is the North Pole's Commodity Supplemental Food Program's distribution site as well. Lastly, the SSC provides computer (free Wi-Fi) and printer access as needed for SSC Members. 

Santa's Senior Center's services are rendered for the greater good in helping and advocating for seniors to live a healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically by staying active and joining in on the on-going community outreach activities /events that are held daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.  

Our neighboring communities should know that SSC has a gift shop on site and has items that have been handcrafted by local members of the center.  Additionally, the SSC has their 25^th Cookbook Edition for sale. Call us if you would like to become a member or for more details.
