Purpose Statement:

The purpose of Salem United Methodist Church is to win people to our Savior Jesus Christ. Our desire is to be attractive and accessible in order to draw persons in search of Christ and who seek to find meaning and God's purposes for our life. We desire to give expression to our being a part of the family of God by making our fellowship real in the way we care for and serve each other unconditionally.

We will strive to equip our Christian family with God's word in such a way we can understand it and are challenged to apply it to our everyday lives. Therefore, we will better know God's will and try to be more Christ-like by putting our faith in action. We will make every effort to base our decisions with the eternal result in mind.
