Rotary Club of Wentzville

About Us:

The Wentzville Club, with boundaries between Foristell and Lake St. Louis, and between Flint Hill and New Melle, was organized in 1943.

The Wentzville Club has always been active, and because of this, numerous civic and charitable organizations, the Senior Center, and individuals in need have benefited. Several years ago, the club's major project was the development of Soby Field for Wentzville (Holt) High School.

Recently, the club spearheaded the acquisition of 72 acres in Wentzville for a park for future St. Charles County Youth Fairs, and other events. It was designated "Rotary Park," and was judged the year's most outstanding project in the District. In 1999-2000, the District Governor, Tom Gooch, was a member of the Wentzville Club, and our club sponsored the new Cottleville-Weldon Spring Rotary Club.

In 2005-06, the Club again has been challenged to help sponsor a new Rotary Club at or near the Winghaven Development in O'Fallon.
