Rocky's Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation is a 100% volunteer based organization that rescues equines from kill pens, hoarding situations, owner surrenders, and other types of situations. Our goal is to try and find these animals forever homes. We provide all necessary care when brought intp the rescue. Many can receive training and be adopted out. Due to physical impairments some animals must remain in our care indefinitely. Volunteers are badly needed to help with all the facets of running the rescue. A horse background is a great help but there are non-horse related duties that we also need. Fundraisers, handy-man types, people to help move hay during hay season, grooming, barn duties, and much more.
