Pima Community College - Downtown Campus

1255 North Stone Avenue
520-206-7171

Pima Community College’s Downtown Campus, which opened in 1974, reflects a mix of university-bound students, working adults upgrading their skills, single parents returning to school, and individuals seeking personal enrichment.  The Campus offers innovative ways to meet diverse needs.

The Alternative Learning Center, Biology Learning Laboratory, Instructional Activities Center, Computer Commons and the Language Laboratory use 21st-century technology and techniques to enhance student learning. The infusion of instructional technology is evident in web-based courses (completely on-line and hybrid) and in computer labs, tutoring center, and computer-assisted language instruction.

The Campus is an integral part of the local education, business and workforce development organizations.  Partnerships with businesses have enhanced scholarship opportunities, experiential learning, and employment for students.  Input of occupational advisory committees assure top-quality and relevant education in occupational programs.
