About Us:

 West Elementary is located in a lovely rural setting near Bruceville, in Southwestern Indiana. The school serves about 230 students in kindergarten through grade six. Within a risk-free classroom setting, children are taught to satisfy their natural curiosity with well-developed problem solving skills and to read for information as well as for their own enjoyment. Our desire is for the children to become effective communicators and users of technology. The staff strives to create a learning environment that will encourage students to take risks, become life-long learners, and develop into responsible, productive citizens.
