The Hopi Indian Tribe's Office of Community Planning & Economic Development is dedicated to the improvement of the Hopi communities and economic conditions on the Hopi Indian Reservation. In a culturally appropriate manner and in compliance with the Hopit Tunatya'at.

The Office of Community Planning endeavors to provide the Hopi Tribe and populace with quality and culturally appropriate land use, development planning and services.

Hopis are a puebloan people who continue to practice their culture, religion, and traditions and speak the Uto Aztecan language. Our unique art creations allow us to engage in the free enterprise market as a means of economic survival, while exemplifying the diverse talent of our tribal members with each piece embodying the spirit of the artist. Completed pieces often symbolize history, migration, clanship and spirituality.
