About Us: Hayden Elementary School is located in Jennings County off Highway 50 West between North Vernon and Seymour, Indiana. The school serves 340 students from kindergarten through sixth grade who live in Hayden and the surrounding Spencer Township area. Just one block from our school is the Hayden Historical Museum and the birthplace of Indiana's 43rd governor, Edgar D. Whitcomb.
