A share in our CSA provides more than enough fresh and tasty produce for a family of 4 for a week. Members come to the farm to pick up their share every week, and can take advantage of some of the U-pick items we have available. For example, cherry tomatoes, red raspberries, fresh herbs and flowers, extra green beans, tomatoes, hot peppers, and peas for canning or freezing.

Friends Farm is a small family farm near Altoona and Huntingdon Pa. We use natural and sustainable methods to grow a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, eggs, meats and even honey bees. We have found it unnecessary to become certified organic as we sell everything we grow directly to our customers. We use no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides or our crops and our animals are raised on pasture with no antibiotics as much as possible. We offer our products for sale through a CSA or vegetable subscription service during the summer, an on farm market on Saturdays 9am -4pm and the meats are also available by pre-ordering. Select Saturday evening throughout the summer and fall, we serve "Harvest Dinners" in our market.
