Led by the Holy Spirit, with open hearts and minds, the mission of First Presbyterian Church, Rosenberg, is to be a Christ-centered, active, vital, all-inclusive, and diverse community of believers seeking to be faithful to Jesus Christ, showing love for God and neighbor.

About Us

First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg, a connecting community where we are transforming lives for the better. We are a caring church lead by the Holy Spirit to be a Christ centered, active, vital, all inclusive, and diverse community reaching out to meet the needs of our neighbors. We hope you will join the excitement at FPC of Rosenberg by sharing Christ's love in bible study, fellowship, children's programs, and mission projects.

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) rooted in the Reformed heritage. Chartered in 1912, we are an intergenerational church family of 270 members with a blend of longtime and newer members, of young and old, of a mixture of occupations, of native Texans and newly transferred families. We have members in the immediate area of Rosenberg and Richmond as well as Pecan Grove, Tara, Greatwood, and New Territory. There is a place for you here to worship, to learn, to serve, to make friends, to grow in the faith, to experience God's grace, and to share in God's work. Our worship service reflects the Presbyterian Reformed tradition but we are open to trying new things.West Fort Bend County is a blending of small town and suburbia, country and city, a bedroom community to Houston, where many of our members work. Just 25 miles southwest of Houston on U. S. 59 south, we enjoy the better of two worlds: a small town atmosphere with the fringe benefits of a major metropolitan area.

Our congregation is small enough to know each other, and big enough to have an active program. We focus on Jesus' Great Commandment and Great Commission, and the Great Ends of the Church.We are bound together by our love for Christ and our compassion for one another. There is a place for everyone in our caring church family.
