First Baptist Church, Dayton, is a friendly church with a healthy mix of all ages, from babies to seniors. We are theologically conservative, with a strong commitment to expository (Biblical) preaching, evangelism, and discipleship. This is our mission statment: We exist to produce fully developing followers of Jesus Christ.

Our worship music is a blended style, for we sing the hymns of the ages, along with biblically-sound contemporary praise and worship music. We utilize a worship team, choir, and praise band, in addition to the traditional piano and organ. The result is worship music that appeals to all ages and encourages all of us to lift unified hearts in praise and worship to God.

We welcome people regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. Our goal is to offer God’s hope to people and families through engaging, powerful worship services and ministries that address real spiritual needs.
