First Baptist Smithton strives to be a church that embodies the presence of Christ here, in our local community, as well as reaching out into the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To us, church isn’t about trying to be the “greatest show on earth” or about what you wear when you get here. Its about coming together as the Body of Christ to encourage, equip, and evangelize people—preparing them for a life of service to our Lord.

We admit it! We don't know every answer! If you are looking for somebody to dictate to you every detail of your life with God, we may not be the church for you. We aren't trying to create robots here, we are trying to encourage people to experience God on a personal level. We are on this journey together as believers, and we would love to have you join us as we grow closer to God-together
