Exeter Festival of Trees

Each year the Exeter Town Hall is aglow with live decorated trees up for silent auction.

The Festival of Trees has become a favorite seasonal tradition for residents in the seacoast area, taking place the first Thursday after Thanksgiving the Exeter Town Hall becomes home to a wonderland of holiday beauty. Local businesses, organizations, and individuals beautifully decorate 50 live trees for thousands to view during the "Holiday Open House." On the nights of the event, all the trees are auctioned off with the goal of raising over $25,000 to support The Community Children's Fund.

What began in 1998 as a modest display of 15 trees has grown to become a Yuletide Extravaganza that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Community Children's Fund. It is a celebration of what can happen when people work together for the greater good!

The Festival of Trees committee appreciates the many participants who help make this event successful. It has truly become the kick-off for the holiday season and a tremendous community event. Come and enjoy the festive atmosphere and admire the beautifully decorated trees. Raffle Tree tickets are on sale for a chance to win a special committee tree filled with local business gift cards and certificates. All proceeds from the festival go to the Community Children’s Fund providing warm clothing and bedding vouchers to Seacoast area children in need.
