The City of Sauk Centre is located in Stearns County, west-central Minnesota, and is home to 4,111 residents. The City is located along Interstate 94 and is approximately 100 miles northwest of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, approximately 45 miles from St. Cloud, and 24 miles from Alexandria. Sauk Centre is surrounded by some of Minnesota’s finest fishing lakes including Big Sauk Lake, which begins in the City and extends ten miles to the north.
