Central Christian Church is part of a movement of churches commonly referred to as the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. This group of non-denominational churches is sometimes referred to as the Restoration Movement. Though these churches share similar beliefs, each church operates independently of the others. The movement was founded on the premise of restoring the practice of the early church as recorded in the New Testament and avoiding man-made doctrines that have crept into some churches. To avoid controversy we believe it is important for the local church to state its stand on certain key issues. This statement is the articulation of certain views upon which the ministry of Central Christian Church is based.
