Bible Baptist Church of Fairbanks

32 Adak Avenue
907-452-1407

Where We Began:

Bible Baptist Church was started by missionaries in 1960 who rented a building by the Chena River. Land was purchased at 913 College Road in 1962. The buildings have been expanded in stages and have survived the flood of 1967.

In 1992 we purchased a building, our current location, at 32 Adak Street (near College Road and the Steese Highway) to better reach our community for the Saviour.

Because of Fairbanks' strategic location "at the end of the paved road," we are able to supply port and refuge for missionaries in the Arctic Circle.

Bible Baptist Church is an independent congregation, having no denominational ties with any organizations, but having fellowship with all who honor the Word of God and the God of the Word. We are neither formal nor stuffy, but enjoy a freedom of open fellowship and worship.

What We Believe:

We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures, (King James 1611, God's choice for the English speaking world). We believe that the Bible reveals God, the Fall of man, the way of salvation, and God's plan and purposes in the ages.

We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity, virgin birth and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in the visible, personal and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is "by grace", plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith. We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.

We believe that the New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers who have covenanted themselves together to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them.
