The annual showcase of Bolingbrook area food and fun is Saturday, Aug.12 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with bands all afternoon, a beer garden, the Family Fun Zone, and a crafters/makers market.

With the interior streets of the shopping center closed during the event, attendees are free to walk about, sampling the food and beverage offerings as well as visiting The Promenade retailers, and vendor booths.

As what has become a tradition, the Family Fun Zone includes  a Bolingbrook Fire Truck, quiet room from the Northern Will County Special Recreation Association and a petting zoo ( noon to 3pm) sponsored by Kiddie Academy. Chamber nonprofits will also offer family-friendly activities in the Zone on Hemingway Trail.

Another tradition will be the on-air presence of 95.9The River and Star96.7 during the day.

3:30pm-5:30pm: The Sumthins - The Sumthins are a rock band from Joliet, IL. Playing rock classics as well as many deep cuts that you may not hear as often. Sumthins writes, records, and independently produces their own original music which can be found on whatever music streaming service you use.
6:30pm-8:30pm: Starlight City -  Starlight City brings a wide array of pop & rock providing the ultimate party, ranging in music from Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and Bruno Mars all the way to  Sir Elton John, Avril Lavine, Journey, Panic! At The Disco, Toto, and more!
