Friday Food Truck Extravaganza!

Many of our Food Vendors arrive early this year and will be open around the Dick Taylor Plaza on Friday, March 1st, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM!  The Robeson County Arts Council is sponsoring the fiery Latin sounds of Beleza and Berto & Vincent! Music sponsored by the Robeson County Arts Council.

We'll have live music onstage, and the evening will be lots of fun for the entire family!  So come on out on Friday for dinner at the Rumba Friday Food Truck Extravaganza!

UNC Health Southeastern 5K & 10K and Family Fun Mile

Come out and run our flat, fast and fun UNC Health Southeastern 5K & 10K and Family Fun Mile.  All races and runs are on Saturday, March 2, 2024.  (Our courses are all measured and certified!)

Allen Orthopedics Party on the Plaza

Music and entertainment all day long on Saturday, onstage at Lumberton's Dick Taylor Plaza sponsored by Allen Orthopedics!  This year we feature our good friends the Throwback Collaboration Band from Fayetteville, NC.

11:00 AM-Noon- UNC Health 5K & 10K Awards

Noon to 1:30 PM- Ring Wars

Lumbee River EMC Touch-A-Truck

Along 3rd Street between Chestnut and Walnut we'll have trucks and big equipment for young people to ogle, sit in, and enjoy!  Sponsored by Lumbee River EMC.

Lumber River United Way's Lucky Duck Derby

The Lumber River United Way will once again run its Lucky Duck Derby in the Lumber River on Saturday at 2:15 PM during the Rumba on the Lumber Festival.  So head to the river and support the United Way while you are at the festival!

Coors Banquet North of the Border Chili Cook-Off

Join us for the 2024 Coors Banquet North of the Border Chili Cook-Off!  Teams compete in many categories.

Managed by the folks at the Robeson Community College Foundation.

Beer Garden at The Alley at 219 Elm

Kick back and enjoy some tasty craft brews and other adult beverages with friends during the Rumba on the Lumber.  The folks at The Alley at 219 Elm will be open Friday evening and all day Saturday!
