Model Train Show

Discover the fascinating world of model trains as you explore intricate and captivating model train layouts at the D & N Event Center. Immerse yourself in the artistry and craftsmanship of these miniature landscapes, and gain insights into the techniques and creativity behind creating your own model train display. This immersive

experience awaits you for three consecutive days at the D & N Event Center, providing ample time to delve into the enchanting realm of model trains and inspire your own miniature masterpiece.

$5 per person, $1 for youth 6-12, 5 & under FREE

Challenger Display

Don't miss the opportunity to witness the world's only Challenger on display at Cody Park! Step into history as you explore the train and get a firsthand look at what it was like when this magnificent locomotive was in action. This remarkable exhibit invites visitors to immerse themselves in the captivating era of rail travel, providing an up-close encounter with the Challenger's grandeur and engineering marvel. Prepare to be amazed as you step inside and embark on a journey back in time at Cody Park.

Rail Yard Ringer

Experience the ultimate horseshoe tournament at Rail Days! Take part in this exciting competition set against the backdrop of Cody Park's horseshoe area. Engage in friendly competition, showcase your horseshoe throwing skills, and soak up the energetic atmosphere of Rail Days. Join us at this fantastic event where horseshoe enthusiasts come together to celebrate the spirit of  competition and enjoy a memorable day of fun-filled festivities.

Yard Tours

Climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach bus and embark on an immersive tour that will take you throughout the yard. Tractors, Trucks, Trains, and Planes

Experience a day of FREE family fun that will keep everyone entertained! Engage in exciting activities such as fun jumps, aremote control obstacle course, tractor rides, free ice cream, and much more. Head over to Cody Park to partake in these experiences that are sure to create lasting memories for the whole family.

Pulled Pork Feed

Make your way to the Lincoln County Historical Museum and indulge in the mouthwatering goodness of pulled pork sandwiches paired with farm-fresh sweet corn. From 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., savor this delectable culinary offering that promises to satisfy your taste buds and provide a delightful dining experience. $14 per person

Taste of Nebraska

Delight in a delectable selection of beloved Nebraska favorites, including the iconic Dorothy Lynch dressing, irresistible puppy chow, mouthwatering mini runzas, and more. Treat your taste buds to these delightful treats at the Golden Spike Tower, ensuring a delightful culinary experience during your visit. $25 per person

Pancake Feed

Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast treat as the talented members of Kiwanis serve up perfectly cooked pancakes at the D & N Event Center. Best of all, this mouthwatering feast is Free Will Donation with your admission to the Model Train Show. Start your day off right with a delightful pancake breakfast that will leave you fueled up and ready to explore the world of model trains.

Ice Cream Social

Join us in honoring the dedicated Union Pacific employees, both past and present, at the Model Train Show held at the D & N Event Center. As a special tribute, we invite you to indulge in a "toast" of Ice Cream. This delicious treat serves as a sweet gesture to celebrate the hard work and contributions of Union Pacific employees. Come together with fellow attendees to honor their dedication while enjoying a delightful ice cream experience during this special hour at the Model Train Show.
