Get ready for your summer hiking!. This fun and engaging presentation will teach adults and teens how to stay safe in the woods, and cover the ten essentials to carry for a safe enjoyable outdoor adventure. No registration needed.

Presenter John Rovetto is a life member of New Jersey Search and Rescue where he works on the Preventing Search and Rescue (PSAR) project to inform youth and adults how to avoid getting lost and what to do if it happens.

Baby Lapsit Storytime

This program is designed for children who are being held or are learning to crawl. Featuring lively songs and rhymes that foster a love of reading.

Read To A Dog

Teens Read To Kids

Wednesday, May 10 @ 4:30pm for the stories

Bring the kids to enjoy stories read by Maplewood Teens. Teens arrive at 4 pm and the stories will begin at 4:30. This month we’ll spotlight books by African American authors and illustrators.

Kids Ink Painting Workshop

Thursday, May 18 @ 4pm for ages 5-12

A hands-on ink painting workshop presented by local Mandarin teacher and artist, Manman Huang.

Learn the art of the brushstroke! This is a messy activity, so please wear a smock or other painting clothes.
