July 1
8:00AM - Fun Run & Walk – A La Pine Tradition
The Fun Run & Walk starts at Walker at 5th Street, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 8:00 am. Proceeds go to the La Pine High School Cross Country Team.
Cost: $10 per person
Liquids & fruit will be available at the Race Tent
Age 6-10 yrs * 1 mile course 8:00am
Youth & Adults * 5K course 8:30am
Walkers * Under 30 / Over 30

2:00PM - Lawnmower Race
22nd Annual Grand Prix Lawnmower Race
Saturday, July 1, at 2:00 pm, do not miss La Pine’s Grand Prix of Racing, The Lawnmower Race! This has got to be the most popular 4th of July event in Central Oregon! The race is run in heats. This event is a real crowd pleaser. The competition this year is fierce! Registration Form

13th Annual Woodcutters Chop and Eggs Breakfast
Join local dignitaries under the red and white tent as they serve you at the Woodcutters Breakfast. Chat with Mayor Dan Richer, shake hands with Deschutes County Commissioner Tony DeBone, Sheriff Shane Nelson, and more!
Kids, Seniors and Veterans: $11.00
All Others: $13.00

10:30AM - Fourth of July Parade
Judging will commence at 9:00 AM SHARP. Entrants in all categories will be judged on their depiction of the Parade Theme only. There will be a $250 cash prize for the BEST FLOAT!
Your entry form must be received at the La Pine Frontier Days Association office located at the La Pine Chamber of Commerce offices at 51429 Huntington Road NOON on Friday, June 30, 2023.

1:00PM - Talent Show Prelims (Immed. followed by TALENT SHOW FINALS)
Skits, singing, dancing, magic shows & comedy acts. Come on down and see the talented folks of La Pine!
Preliminaries & Finals will be held on the same day on Tuesday, July 4. Preliminaries at 1:00 pm and finals at 3:00pm.
Both events will be held on the Midway Stage. Judging is by age group based on originality, ability and stage presence.

6:30PM - HIGHWAY 97 BAND

10PM - Fireworks
The Fireworks Show will be held in the meadow West of Highway 97, 3rd Street & Walker on Tuesday, July 4th at 10 pm.

10:00AM - Rendezvous Village
Join representatives from the Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde, the Warm Springs, the Lakota and the Iroquois, as well as the Tlingit & Blackfoot Tribes, and many of our other neighboring tribes in the Native Encampment Village.
