2nd Annual Hampstead Civic Club Amateur BBQ Competition
We are excited to host our second Hampstead Civic Club Amateur BBQ competition! Held during the Independence Day Celebration on June 24th  at Meetinghouse Park. This is your chance to showcase your pitmaster skills. Join us to see who can smoke the BEST BBQ in Hampstead!

Contestants will be cooking ALL day! Setup is any time after 6pm on Friday night, June 23th. Meat must be ready and turned in to the judges between 4:30 and 5pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023

The cost to enter is $60.00 and includes one 4-5lb Pork **** and one 4-5 lb Beef Brisket.*

After official judging by our celebrity judges, an awards ceremony will commence naming the winners in multiple categories.

This is the perfect opportunity to bring your unbelievably delicious, mouth-watering BBQ to the community and take home the coveted Pig Trophy!

Cash prize awarded.

Schedule:
12:00pm: Craft Fair Begins; Come support our various crafters selling all handmade items.
3:00pm: Food opens & Kids games! Frog Jump followed by potato sack race and water balloon toss
5:00pm: Music and Games.
Come try your luck dunking some of Hampsteads finest, take a swing at miniature golf, ski ball and much more!
5:30pm: People’s Choice Awards: Sampler platter available for $5
6:45pm: National Anthem
7:00pm: Presentation of Scholarship Winners
7:15pm: BBQ Competition Awards
Music, games until Fireworks begin. Fireworks will begin after 9.
