Spring Eggstravaganza

Join us for our annual Spring Eggstravaganza, and enjoy a day out in the park where you and your family can play carnival games, race to the top of Glendale Rocks! Climbing Wall, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and of course, hunt for Easter eggs.

See flyer for egg hunt details by age group.  Please don't forget to bring your baskets.  Adults will not be permitted on the field for age groups 5 years and older.

Please join us on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. -3:30 p.m. for an afternoon of Victorian Easter celebrations with The Glendale Historical Society on the northwest corner of Brand Park at the Doctors House! 

Enjoy family-friendly activities, including traditional Victorian games, children’s story time with Nona, tasting olde-fashioned hand-churned ice cream, and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny! As an added bonus, children young and old will find delight in a puppet show featuring Rene’s Marionettes.

Guests are encouraged to attend in their Easter finest, and children who wish to join in the Easter Egg Hunt should bring their own baskets.

Guests are also welcomed to bring their own family picnics to enjoy on the beautiful lawns.

Space is limited for admission. $15 per person, $10 per TGHS member. Free admission for anyone under the age of one.

Community Meetings to Review and Comment on FY 2023-2024 Annual Action Plan

Give us your comments on the City’s proposed FY2023-2024 Annual Action Plan for CDBG, ESG, and HOME program. The Annual Action Plan identifies the proposed social services, capital projects, homeless services, housing and neighborhood programs that will serve community needs for low to moderate income families.

Metro's Mobile Customer Center (TAP Card Services) Coming to Glendale!

The Adult Recreation Center is hosting Metro's Mobile Customer Center, which provides TAP card services in underserved areas throughout Los Angeles County.  Services include intake of reduced fare applications, photo-taking (if applicable), issuance of temporary Reduced Fare cards to qualified applicants, and TAP fare sales.
