Come to Crescent City, California for the Largest Fireworks Show & 4th of July Festival in Northern California.

We celebrate big for the 4th of July! The celebration starts with a parade through downtown - the lineup starts at 8:30 am and the parade starts at 10 am. The parade route is H Street and 9th Street before winding its way down to 3rd Street, up to K Street, and over to Front Street. Due to the generosity of our local sponsors, the parade is free to all of those who enter the parade as well as all spectators. Download the parade entry form to participate!

Enjoy a fun run, live music, food, a beer garden, arts and crafts, merchandise and vendors all day long at Beachfront Park followed by the biggest fireworks show on the north coast (starts at dusk.) Watching the fireworks over the Battery Point Lighthouse is an amazing sight to see! Fireworks can be seen from all beaches in Crescent City.

June 30, 2022

9am-1pm: 43nd Annual Jed Smith Mountain Men Tall Trees Rendezvous! All-day festival at Rowdy Creek Gun Club in Smith River.
June 29 to July 5: Shooting contests, vendors, artisans.

10am-6pm: Del Norte County Library Summer Reading Program (July 3-31) Variety of art and nature based activities. All ages welcome! 190 Price Mall Crescent City

July 1, 2022

11am-2pm: Sand Castles by the Sea by Del Norte Child Care Council. Below the staircase at Stamps and Howe. Look for balloons! This is a family, non-competitive event.

5pm-7:30pm: Live from Downtown: Friday & Farmers Featuring local artisans, food vendors & farmers in downtown Crescent City

July 2, 2022

9am-1:30pm:

- Crescent City Farmers Market at the Harbor, 101 Citizens Dock. Vendors, produce, baked goods, craft items.

- Country Market at the Del Norte Fairgrounds. Local foods, crafts, homemade goods, antiques and more.

10am-3pm: Yurok Craft Fair at 915 E. Washington Blvd next to Walmart. Arts, crafts, food vendors.

2pm-10pm: Live Entertainment House of Jambalaya 110 Anchor Way, admission donation based. For volunteer opportunities contact Jen at [email protected] This event promotion for July 5 Beach Cleanup

July 3, 2022

10a-4pm:

Arts and Craft Fair - Crescent City Art, 1228 2nd Street.

Deck Party at 1001 Front Street, Cultural Center lawn, includes Live Music from Disturbing The Peace, Raffle and Refreshments.

July 4, 2022

7am: Remax Hot Air Balloon Rides in Beachfront Park - Free

8am:
Streets close for Parade: H Street, 3rd Street, K Street and Front Street all closed.
K Steet is the Designated Quiet Area

8:30am:
Parade line up starts at 9th and H Street.
Registration for the 5K Fun Run begins, Located at the first turnout on northern end of Pebble Beach Drive. The run begins at 10:00 am.

9am: Museum Day at Historical Society 577 H Street, free coffee and sweet treats from Lillie's Little Bakery will be available for purchase 9am - 5pm

10am:
Vendors set up completed and vehicles out of the park. No vehicles to move until festival closed.
Beachfront Park opens for foot traffic.
Markeplace, Food Vendors, Kids Attractions open.
Parade starts at 10am with the signal shot of the cannon at 577 H Street

12pm:
Live Music Stage Distrubing The Peace
Arts and Crafts Fair at 1228 2nd Street

1pm: Cow Chip Bingo begins at Beachfront Park.

1:30pm: Fireman Water Ball Challenge Front Street (in front of old Turf Club) followed by Fire Dept display and demos, including Jaws of Life extraction

1:50pm: Awards and Announcements at Free Stage.

2pm: Live music with The Mighty Steelheads

2pm: Live Music Black GTO

5:45pm: Festival Closes

10:30pm: Roads open to traffic
