National STEM Challenge Call for Submissions

The National STEM Challenge is open for submissions! Students grades 6-12 in the U.S. are invited to submit their individual STEM projects, due on the National STEM Challenge website, by November 12th.

Pilot Program for Engineering Education

The Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM (TIES) is collaborating with Siemens to pilot a new platform for engineering education in High School classrooms. Siemens’ Engineering Pathway for High School is a learning application that empowers educators to inspire and engage students to learn about the field of engineering. As a member of this pilot, you can choose which modules you want to complete!

STEM & Community Engagement Survey

The Afterschool Alliance has launched an initiative to explore how STEM programs in afterschool, summer, and other out-of-school-time setting can nurture young people's interests, skills, and knowledge to solve community and societal challenges. Take the survey to help map the current landscape of program strategies at the intersection of STEM, civic engagement, and teen leadership.
